The old breeding adage that its in the blood is very apt with a family background of 60 years of experience to fall back on, mainly as an owner/breeder operation, achieving notable breeding successes with the like of Lisnamuck, Moyletra and the brilliant Moaning Lad (pictured) who after finishing 3rd in the 1994 English Derby went on to further glory by winning the 1995 running.
Drumscraw itself was bought in 2006 as a farm with the sole intention of developing it into a first class greyhound breeding establishment. There is kennel space for approximately 30 dogs with indoor paddocks and external adjoining runs.

The paddocks outside cater for the younger pups and saplings and presently house three full litters. We have a separate indoor area for bitches in season as well as a purpose built whelping kennel with a large internal paddock for broods and pups which is monitored with wireless CCTV.
